The number one thing I will say is as a man be consistent in who you are, an issue lotta dudes face that makes women switch up is dudes become something they aren't in order to "Get" a woman and then once they got her they become themselves which is radically different and now the woman is like wtf did I sign up for lol. Women are notorious for the same thing (started out slim going to the gym cooking engaging in convo bidirectlonally and not just focused on her, contributing to things, etc). then once they got you they stop lol.
i agree for the most part but the halo effect is also very real. ppl will overlook certain qualities or traits and act okay with them due to materialistic reasons but then act brand new when confronted with those realities later.
