I'm not anti social. I'm just low key. If I'm not going to marry someone I don't care to meet their family.
I don't do family functions and events because I never have. I'll go to a wedding or a funeral , maybe a baby dedication and that's about it.

Birthdays are just an excuse to celebrate life amongst friends & family. Eat good food & doing the things you find fun, whether that's going on a trip, a game, hit the club, whatever....How could someone NOT like that? If you don't want to celebrate someone's birthday you probably don't like them much. Are you not close with your sister? If not, I totally understand......but to say I just don't want to celebrate life & have fun at all is bonkers.

Growing up I was close with my sister as we are a year and a half apart. Since she's been married not so much she has a husband and two kids and one on the way.
