So I started at 1st page, went straight to page 260 and read on. I tried this, no simping, check her, cut her off no response type deal. It worked on OkCupid, 10 likes in 1 day, where before me simping = boring the chick.
So now, 2nd week after that, realized that I'm friend with two ex's of mine, and you guys are right, they'll message me about their problems. That's it. Nothing about me. So this morning I said, "Fukkit." Un-friend from Facebook cuz they avoid me anyways. If they ask why, even in person, I'll just ignore that shyt.
Y'all the most important part to me was to keep it movin'. That worked wonders. I'm just starting my freshman year in college, too.

She wouldnt hit me up first for shyt.
Now that we broke up she still messages me every now and then. I never text her first. And I always keep my texts short and boring.
She'll find some excuse to message me. One time she sent me a video saying she thought I might like it.
She just texted me the other day saying "hun" and how she misses talking to me.
She told me "you know you missed my bday". I tell her yes and never responded after that.
She'll hit me up again proly next week.
