SHOULD I get back with my complete bunny-boiler of an ex?

I’ve just received a long email from her promising never to stalk, threaten or hurt me again.
Apparently she’s learned her lesson, she now realises that her late father made her feel insecure and wretched and she’s no longer that desperate little girl.
Today, she is confident, clear-headed and ready to start again.
Am I prepared to give her a second chance?
Can I find it in my heart to accept that she used to be ill but now she’s cured?
Of course my family and friends are warning me to have nothing more to do with her, but I do miss that sex…
