No one cares about boxing anymore outside of hardcore boxing fans brehs. That's all there is too it. You don't hear about it unless it involves Pacman or Mayweather nowadays. This thread probably wouldn't even been made if that fight wasn't even set.

UFC is on a decline as well, they've been having weak ass cards for a minute now.

Doesn't mean much tbh. Thats an attempt that will hopefully bring popularity and an expanded demographic to boxing but that doesn't mean it's already achevived that goal. Let's be reality, the most famous active boxer in that commercial was Broner. I'm sorry but I just don't see him ever drawing the same time of attention as a Mayweather . And when I say dying, I don't actually mean disappear, I just mean popularity when it comes to the casual fan. Boxing Stans will swear boxing isn't dying but that's just because they follow it and are highly invested in it. But when it comes to the casual fan, there's no denying that boxing is gonna fall on some tougher times after Mayweather retires
