No one cares about boxing anymore outside of hardcore boxing fans brehs. That's all there is too it. You don't hear about it unless it involves Pacman or Mayweather nowadays. This thread probably wouldn't even been made if that fight wasn't even set. :comeon:

UFC is on a decline as well, they've been having weak ass cards for a minute now.

Do you have the receipts to back these claims?

(I already know the answer) :sog:

it's always jobber or nikkas not in the sport that say this, now a days plenty of mma guys and boxers share gyms and you never hear this talk there, I wonder why. :francis:

That's not a receipt friend.

How about you go google the ratings and payout for his last few fights instead and come back. :sog:

The ratings? :deadmanny:

Obviously those people aren't average boxing fans. :deadmanny:

I'm not even saying boxing is dead. I'm saying no one gives a fukk about it unless you watch more than the yearly big fights. Same goes with UFC.

:what:

So the sport is dying and not as popular as it once was but lets not use the ratings and payout and an indicator? :dead:

What would you like to use instead friend? :heh:

Two posts ago you just said no one cared about boxing, obviously the ratings should reflect this no? :sas1:

I AM WArhol post: 12491I said:
:francis: Doesn't mean much tbh. Thats an attempt that will hopefully bring popularity and an expanded demographic to boxing but that doesn't mean it's already achevived that goal. Let's be reality, the most famous active boxer in that commercial was Broner:mjlol:. I'm sorry but I just don't see him ever drawing the same time of attention as a Mayweather :yeshrug:. And when I say dying, I don't actually mean disappear, I just mean popularity when it comes to the casual fan. Boxing Stans will swear boxing isn't dying but that's just because they follow it and are highly invested in it. But when it comes to the casual fan, there's no denying that boxing is gonna fall on some tougher times after Mayweather retires:yeshrug:
They said this about Oscar too.

And if it were done 3 years ago it'd be worth double that... that ain't the point though. Who's got next? And is it going to be anywhere near that?
Nobody ever knows who is next. It just happens when a kid shows incredible talent and is groomed along the way.
