And what I find funny is that they stop at nothing to insult people who are not introverts and have no problem functioning a like a normal person in social situations.

How does a "normal person" interact with people? :jbhmm:

I rather have a handful of words that mean something than just talk relentlessly.

What does talk relentlessly mean?

Every convo with people don't have to be of dire importance.

Talk normally is talking to people without being frantic on the inside and having a panic attack.

This is just something that has been on my mind for a minute and I really do not have anyone that is willing to have a serious discussion about it with.

Sometimes my friends say stuff like, "Before I met you, I thought you were stuck up/mean/weird/etc. because you were so quiet. But you're a cool guy!"

I'm just like

Really? Really? Because someone is okay with not having to talk just to hear themselves talk, they are stuck up all of a sudden?

Even in the workplace, the people that usually get promoted are the ones with exceptional social skills. And the ones who actually know their job but are quiet are treated

It's almost 12 PM and I'm already tipsy, so I figured I'd ask the Coli brethren and brethrenettes (?) about their experiences about this
Peer pressure. You should only speak if you have something good to say.

Somewhere, somehow this thread took a turn into way left field.

I didn't make this to come off as holier than thou or to turn my nose up at people, but as a serious question.

I got great feedback from mostly everyone (except those nikkas talking about meeting up to fight, supposedly) on both sides of the discussion.

Just trying to grow as an individual y'all, nothing more and definitely nothing less.

Keep trying to improve as a person until you die. The more you improve the more the haters hate/ it hurts them. The more you improve the better your life gets. The haters are going to try to stop you from even beginning the path of self improvement... plus much worse.

Even you doing some push-ups and crunches is going to kill the haters... let alone reading a beneficial book, or you being good to your parents, etc.

Its not you with bold but being realistic if you heard how some frame it comes off as that. They might not even try to be that way but when you end up generalizing just like the people you claim you're different than it looks funny in the light to me. It just looks like that group talking about the other group is feeling some type of way they don't get the attention they deserve.

Think about it how many people do you really think care what you that's not family and close friends? If you answer like most would that right there should give you a hint into how are so many people on here that claim they don't much talking having cats care about them when even if you are an extrovert if cats don't know you its only so much they care for you. That's my thing in these discussions asking real questions not a co sign parade it seems some like looking for at times online.

I do agree with @Slaimon Khan Shah regarding always improving on yourself and that alone probably will help you not be as "introverted" as you think you are. I think most "introverts" are shy and insecure because they don't have the "right" looks, money, status, popular interests, etc but put it off on something else. Improving yourself probably can help with some of,these things that alof of introverts have IMO no scientific studies done on my part just living life lol
