as far as the thread cam would be considered a "hood superstar" like dudes were saying off his inflmuence alone, after chwm dropped and oh boy which was one of the biggest hip hop hits that summer he blew up, nikkas still knew about and listened to him but that's when he started getting more radio play and that's when the dips started getting noticed.

wasn't oh boy one of the most played singles ever? cam never was a "superstar" in the sense of the word...but he had the game on smash for a couple of years via him and his crew. i'll never forget those years when dipset came through. it was something lovely.

Cam wasn't a superstar with horse & carriage or Dipset. he's a flashy nikka and all them Dipset nikkas got big mouths no homo so he always made himself seem bigger then what he was. He was close to being a superstar though. People know who he is but when I came to sohh and saw all the Cam stans for the first time I was shocked.

Two big singles but album sales wise it's pretty interesting, he did the numbers a lot of cats on the roc were doing, a little more on the first a little less on the second .

But yeah cam was a superstar on the east coast, don't know about their buzz in the rest of the nation minus the two singles though.
