You're bringing up accomplishments, but he never said that Duncan wasn't accomplished for one. Two, he doesn't have to defend his personal opinion, regardless he actually did give a reason. He more or less said that he felt that Duncan benefited from playing for an all-time coach in Pop and playing with a great supporting cast, whereas Webber was the better indivual player and didnt have the same luxuries as Duncan. Oh, and you do realize he could be salty that Duncan beat him AND he can feel like Webber was the better player, BOTH statements can be true lol.

How is it a "great situation in SA" when his #2 option for most of those years were guys like Sean Elliot, Antonio Daniels, or a rookie TP?

Shaq went to an LA team loaded with all-stars, had Phil come on board, and had Kobe become an MVP candidate. That was a MUCH better situation than Duncan's. Heck, even Shaq's situation in Orlando with Penny, Horace Grant, and a team full of elite shooters was better than what Duncan had at the same age.

because the Spurs had to face (one of) the greatest team of all-time twice in the playoffs.
Usually when All-greats retire/leave/gets traded, their teams struggle without them. So for the Spurs to make the Western Conference finals is pretty fukking good and it proves that the Spurs have great system that year.

with that being said, Duncan was clearly better than C-Webb.
