You wrote that all shyt to say what exactly? Students don't routinely overstep their boundaries? Nobody is defending an all around nasty teacher who hates kids and shouldn't be in the profession (and I have met a few). You're speaking in VERY general terms breh because that is certainly not the majority.

And no one cares about your moment of glory story :camby:

Not speaking on this particular situation but teachers routinely overstepped their bounds with students. Not to mention that teachers these days are just less intelligent and cut from less moral fiber than teachers of the past. You have teachers who you can barely differentiate from students behavior/personality-wise so its no surprise to me seeing more student/teacher altercations. Kids have gotten less respectful but teachers have been less deserving of it. You can't talk to a student the way some teachers do and expect a shorty to treat you with respect. Its a two-way street.

Most often its just a shytty, disrespectful kid dealing with an undeserving teacher. But often times, its a teacher talking to a child like they are just some bum ass nikka on the street, then want to cop pleas when other kids see that you aint shyt and start trying you the rest of your career. teachers back in the day got respect off GP, nowadays you have thots, pedos and dumbasses learning subjects as they teach you.
With yo goofy ass.

I come from the hood and I never saw fit to curse, threaten, or fight a teacher :stopitslime:
So on one hand you guys are saying the teacher is justified because kids in the hood act like this every day. On the other hand you guys want to act high and mighty because you were fortunate not to be a problem child. The thing is some black kids in the hood are crying out for help. For every person like you who came out the hood with no problems there are five other people whose father is in jail, momma is a crack head/prostitute, gets molested on a regular basis, etc. These kids arent acting out for no reason. You guys are mad at the product, not the conditions that created the product.

Only in America do we blame the teacher when kids act like animals. And people wonder why schools in the hood are shyt.

Absolutely no discipline.
We JUST had a thread on this shyt in HL

And it's like I said, this shyt starts at HOME. Look at the makeup of that household. Where is the mom? Where is the father? She's living with the aunt and grandmoms huh? :rudy:

These kids come into the school thinking that they can't be told anything or that they're untouchable and then not only are they putting the careers and lives of the teachers in jeopardy but they're also disrupting the other children who want to learn or have potential and are being distracted by the knuckleheads.

Stop having kids that you can't take care of you pieces of shyt. It's not society's job to take care of your mistakes :pacspit:

I'm really torn because I literally know what it's like to be a teacher with a very emotionally disturbed and violent student in the classroom. Administration won't do a damn thing and her mom was crazy too (I was scared to tell on the student at times).

However, I think the teacher should have tried to walk away. Even if she had that initial reaction after that book was thrown at her (in addition to the other things thrown), she should have walked away after that male student got in between them.

She had a human reaction, but she is held to a higher standard. If she gets fired, hopefully she can find work elsewhere.

Didn't say she was justified.

What I'm saying is while the system absolutely needs to fixed, it is unfair for teachers (as well as students who want to learn) to have to deal the terrors who will stop at nothing to fukk up the learning environment.

So what is your solution to deal with these "terrors"? Kick them out of school and expedite their transition into the prison industrial complex?

nikkas say it starts at home. Where was the mother of her mother? Where was the father of her father? Families dont produce fukked up kids over night. It stems from generations of fukked up families and that stems from generations of systematic oppression. Yes there should be a level of accountability but you guys are dismissing the bigger picture.

Dap/ undap ....

Nobody knows how to fully take care of a child.... Especially one that can be crazed in the head....

You make some valid points about civility starting at home... But a broken/uncivilized home can't raise a civilized child who clearly is emotionally disturbed....

The aunt and Grandma are the ones in charge and they dont strike me as a sound foundation for the disturbed child.

It's a cycle of poverty with no one able to stop the cycle.... The child pays for the sins of their fathers....

It takes a village to raise one child.... What does it take for a damaged child?

Man I just walked by two 6 year olds coming home from school alone reciting lyrics in unison talking about "everybody catch a bullet hole"....:scust:

Why aren't they singing schoolhouse rock or magic school bus? :mjcry:
