Hard to tell people they got to pull themselves up from bootstraps when they are starving and you gave Argentina $40 billion and was bragging about the marble you put in your bathroom. Why are Republicans panicking? Didn't why always want SNAP and social programs to go away?
They should be high-fiving themselves for this accomplishment
Your brain cells?@Samori Toure another nothing burger?
I thought the spirit of it was fund everyone and the only question is will you add additional funds or give people less money.I read that Judges ordered Trump to Fund SNAP. Is that for certain states only?
It should be nationally but I don’t see how the judge enforces it. I could also see certain states refusing it.I read that Judges ordered Trump to Fund SNAP. Is that for certain states only?
Bro depending on where you are that is maybe 2 meals if the family is small. Its still good but its a shame in the grand scheme of thing. One suggestion I have for folks who don't like to give out money is buy gift cards to restaurants and give them out. Dollar Tree has $25 Mcdonald gift cards for example. That could help out a kid or family for a little bit.
This is a lie. And you know it's a lie.Bothsiders still wont admit we'd be better off with Kamala
Maybe your right bnew. But I think he will win the election. But Kamala is the better person
Gotcha so we just talking out our ass here for daps.
The trump admin is bad and Kamala was a better candidate.
I'm a bothsider and I denouce myself.
So what about them donations? Here's a chance to actually support something you believe in.
Trump is going to win this election just going to say that now for ya'll prepare.
Even though I like Kamala.
This whole situation is on the Republicans and Trump. Democrats have a good reason for not ending the shutdown, they're trying to help people continue having access to free and affordable Healthcare. If you're solely blaming Repubs or Dems for this, you have been bamboozled.
They are both playing their part in the lack of funding.
And they're able to do it because folks identify so much with 'their' political party that all a politician has to do is blame the other side and their people eat it up.
Your brain cells?

an example of this is inflation and the money supply.if youre solely blaming Repubs or Dems for this you have been bamboozled.

this right here proves Dems are also responsible...This whole situation is on the Republicans and Trump. Democrats have a good reason for not ending the shutdown, they're trying to help people continue having access to free and affordable Healthcare.
Some people, due to their understandable frustration, are a bit upset that the Democrats didn't go along with the Republicans' demands to prevent SNAP from being up in the air for November, and while I can understand some of the frustration many have with their SNAP benefits being delayed, only a fool would be okay with high-expensive premiums or no health insurance at all. Hypothetically speaking, so unless someone is cool with higher health insurance or having none at all, then yeah, it makes sense they'd be mad at Democrats because they are a fool.
The Republicans are the ones at fault because they're lying to the public using half-truths or lies completely and using people's hunger as leverage. Telling the public that the emergency funds can't be released because it's illegal, and the USDA using sensationalism about how the “Well has gone dry” was/is a lie. The well hasn't gone dry, and sure, the funds can't be released without the president's consent, but generally speaking, the funds are not illegal in the sense that they can't be used for matters like this, and were saved exactly for these particular situations.
He co-signed these same funds during 2018-19 when the government was shut down, and he could do it again, but has decided not to because his administration is choosing to be cruel by using the public's hunger pains as leverage to force the Dems to cave into an agreement that hurts more people rather than actually helping them.
Dems wont do a deal unless ACA credits (or something like that) are extended right?
They're using Snap benefits to play a game of chicken.
Bothsider hereBothsiders still wont admit we'd be better off with Kamala
Gas is going back up too

this right here proves Dems are also responsible...
youre okay with it because you agree with their fight.
but the fact of the matter is they are using SNAP benefits to hold Repubs hostage.
Are you saying Democrats dont tell half truths?
What do you read/listen to that would tell you that was the case?
Its all political nonsense by both of them.
off topic but my premiums more than doubled the moment ACA went into affect
Personally I don't think people like a Nancy Pelosi actually care about SNAP or the current healthcare system being attacked. These wealthy boomers who want to hold onto power would rather not have the tax burden, regardless of which side of the aisle they are on. Someone like AOC probably genuinely cares, but she's not the rule. This whole situation is on the Republicans and Trump. Democrats have a good reason for not ending the shutdown, they're trying to help people continue having access to free and affordable Healthcare.
