Yea, I know it’s going to be tough and some of its pressure on my end, as I don’t want to be the one that goes against what has traditionally happened in my family since the end of slavery. Legacy stays on my brain.

There’s gotta be some woman out there lol

legacy was always passed via men. These women dont care breh lol. We gotta start being real with ourselves. I’ll never speak in absolutes but we are in a new era and as men must adapt accordingly. Letting a woman destroy what you built would be destroying your legacy anyways.

Do you ever go to women and tell them to stop being snobby, stuck up, entitled, moody unrealistic, unaccountable, lazy, uncooperative, dismissive, untrustworthy, fat whores and bytches?

You women, black women, in particular, have created this bullshyt narrative that all men, black men in particular, don't want to get married and would rather fukk off on hoes for the rest of our lives. Yet in this thread, the mass consensus from men - black men, at that - is marriage would be great, but what's the point when you all feel like it's ok to bring along your toxic behavior, then bounce with everything we've worked for just 'cause you have a tingling in your vagina.

YOU get it together. Stop asking men to put in all the work in the relationship, all the work in the marriage AND also protect ourselves from you being spoiled brats.

You're projecting. I never said any of that.

And yes I do tell women about themselves. I have a 5+ year old talking about being submissive in the Salon. Go look it up. I helped my good friend lose weight after her baby. I also have weekly talks with my friends about relationships. I just had a discussion about health communication a few days.

So stop projecting your fukked up experiences on me and go get some therapy and while you're at it read up on wtf marriage is so you can stop being a cry baby victim.

Yea if a woman is willing to leave you because you won’t sign a piece of paper she didn’t Love you to begin with. :unimpressed:

It’s insane how many men don’t realize this :gucci:

How is a man not wanting to get married or surrounding himself with successful marriages indicative of a poor mindset? :gucci:

Especially when in this same thread you said you know plenty of divorced couples which means you yourself are in an environment with people with unsuccessful marriages? :unimpressed:
It's simple. Rich and successful people get married and stay married. Poor uneducated people do not get married and if they do, they get divorced at higher rates.

If the majority of the people you know can't sustain a marriage or live in BM/BD land then chances are you are poor or at the very least surround yourself with poor people...which means you have their mindset ie why you don't or can't see the value in marriage.

As far as the people I know, the majority I know who are married are happily married. The majority who have been divorced have happily remarried. I hope that answers your questions.

Exactly.

Marriage benefits children and people who are educated and have equal partners.

I'm GMB because I believe most people do not do it for the right reasons... If I wanted kids I'd be about marriage. Without that there's no reason to.
I agree with you but I do think there is value in marriage outside of children. For example, if you were to be with a woman and live off of one income and investment the other income to build wealth it would be smart to be married in order to hold each other accountable for money movement.

Three of my four relationships were fairly decent "experiences," actually. Still on good terms with those exes, for the most part. Only one was horrible and what I imagine dating you would be like.

Now, I know gaslighting is an important part of a female's arsenal, but take a deep, post-menstrual breath and read over the majority of posts in this thread. We're not all necessarily talking about "experiences," we're making observation of very real and very common scenarios. It would be one thing if women controlled access to marriage, but, seeing as you don't, it would behoove you to listen, rather than try to shame and guilt men into being more trusting of women's abuse of the institution.

If you actually said something worth listening to I might take you seriously but you come off as bitter and lacking in experience. I listen to winners and successful people. I'm sorry but you have no knowledge to offer me. You're not married. You're a man crying on the internet and throwing around insults about periods. Lol It's always the ones who don't have shyt to say that talk the loudest.

It's hard to think about legacy with such easy access to a wide variety of women these days. That's probably the major reason guys are forgoing marriage these days.

I don’t think I will ever get married. I’ve never seen any examples of marriages that I would want to emulate in my own life, including my parents. I also just don’t think I will ever be able to fully trust a woman enough to get married. Sure it would be nice to have a life partner, but I just don’t see it happening for a large number of reasons
