GotchaBut that was also the point I’m trying to make about alimony and child support. If a woman ends up settling for someone financially she won’t be getting alimony if there is a divorce

I don’t think it’s a small percentage tho. It’s 2021. Many women especially black women are earning just as much of not more than men. These women ain’t financially dependent on men anymore which is why they file for divorce at a higher clip
All this chart shows is that black men on average make a couple thousand more a year than black women. Unless I’m reading it wrong. If not my point still standsWhy do y'all just parrot femininsect bullshyt talking points? I expect women to hear some "You go girl!" bullshyt and repeat it without batting a fake eyelash - not men.

You think earning a couple thousand more a year is enough to justify alimony?Your point is conceded.

and just stop here.Nail on the head with the legality part.
As a married individual, what are the things that you see making your relationship work?
Good point when you speak of people having no idea what marriage is, but I'll also add that so many people (me included), don't know what a good relationship is/ entails. This part sucks though, because I often wonder where to go to find good information about relationships. Everything makes it seem/ feel like the sexes are at war with eachother and that don't even make sense

I never said black women make just as much and prolly moreYou emphatically stated that black women make as much - but probably more! than - black men.
It's ok to say you never actually looked it up to see if what your gurlfrannd told you was true. Now's the time to quitand just stop here.

Now as far as women being financially worse after a divorce I can’t speak on that
Let's try this again because you struggle to stay on topic. You said this:Let's take a look at what I actually said.
"The overwhelming majority of all marriages until the 1940s ended with the husband dying either during or three or four years after retiring from his fifty-seventy hour work week doing backbreaking hard labor."
Stop letting your emotions get in the way of basic, kindergarten-level reading comprehension.
Women take on zero risk in marriage. Men take on all the risk.
Let's try this again because you struggle to stay on topic. You said this:
This is incorrect. Women historically took on a lot of risk in marriage. Much more than men. Women did not always have the rights they have today until recently.
If the man left or separated from them they were assed out while that man could just move on. God forbid if they had a child too. Did this or did this not happen in history?
You trying to talk about how marriages ended doesn't change the fact that women had a lot of risk in marriage.
Only children argue in exceptions and what ifs.
Have a good day, son.
damn it's a shame how nikkas have become so féminine over the years.
You know you can love someone and still share the same values right? Marriage is about finances not love. You don’t need to marry someone to be in love. But you should get married if you are sharing finances.I don’t think I’ve ever met a man or woman for that matter who said they wanted to get married for business reasons
You want to get married to someone who is at present moment a total stranger and not even because you Love that person but because they will help you accumulate wealth
Like I said good luck with that one
I let it be known early I’m not getting married, I was GMB before GMB
Not sure if you were the one saying y’all can spend one income and save the other but if u were, are you cool with your income being the one spent?![]()
