Iv'e stopped texting some females over this nonsense.
The feeling of knowing they saw your text and couldnt be bothered to respond. Cant subject myself to that so now I just call, and if she dont pick up or return my calls I dont call back ever these days. learned the hard way its easier to send them to the bushes than keep fighting.

i will text back immediately on purpose sometimes just to gauge whether or not the person is playing games.

the other thing is you usually become accustomed to patterns too. like i'll know so and so will take hours .... to get back to me because historically that's how it's worked out. person Y will take minutes. etc. what kills is how all this switches up when they are trying to get something from you or want something quickly then all of a sudden they are very easy to reach.

Yep it's bullshyt. And what makes it worse is that I'm already naturally skeptical of all females anyway, so when they start taking forever to respond, I always assume they're juggling guys. I don't give them the benefit of the doubt anymore... "oh maybe she's sleep or busy." fukk all that.

Basically what it comes down to is people will show you how important you are to them. If I'm not even worthy of a response when I text you then you will be blacklisted, especially if it's a girl I've already had sex with.

This. If I give you my number it's because I want to TALK on the phone, not text. If you're a grown man and texting me you've pretty much lost, espcially with that annoying ass 'text speak.' Also, my phone is not tied to my hip. When I'm home my phone stays in one place no matter where I am, and I only rush to it when it rings. I don't consider texts important or urgent so they can wait.

If you just met someone, texting should not be used as the primary means of communication. She's probably losing interest and not taking you seriously. Who wants to type whole conversations where context and tone could be lost...and waiting on a dang reply? People are losing the art of communication these days. Too lazy to put in a little effort...even had this dude, who came to pick me up for dinner, text me that he was outside. I just let him sit his butt out the door until he called to tell me he's outside. WTH.
