Because when I was a child I got a whooping the whole world didn't watch me get one. That stayed in my house. I'm not saying you can't chastise your child. Those parents posting those videos shows me that they lack parenting skills. A parent trying to teach their child right from wrong is one thing and abusing and publicly shaming them is another.

My dad, on the other hand, was an alcoholic woman beating no good loser- Hah just fukkin with you. My dad is actually one of the very few handicapped employees who managed to qualify at one of the Big 3 automotive companies, making BANK, retired after 30 years and fathered five children including me, stayed married til this day (over 30 years). Put a few through college, owns his own everything, can break down anything and rebuild it. There's some more accomplishments but you're wrong, plain and simple.


He never did it for me to fear him. Because I dont, I respect him.

Ridiculous! I wouldn't dare beat my child. I would spank them for doing wrong because a spanking wont hurt them. It didn't hurt me it taught me to be a better person. But to say that stuff like that is justified.. the person needs to have their head examined.
