What did this team do on these days off? The look like the worst team in the NBA. Injuries aside, they simply looked bad. LaVine completely cooked PJ to ignite that run. PJ had no shot at doing anything against him and that is an overlooked position that’s been needing an upgrade for two years.

Looking at the schedule, the Rockets as presently constructed may not win another game heading into the all star break. I’m not even giving them any of the Cavs games. They have like 4 centers that’ll punish that small ball garbage and Sexton will cut them in half. Dean Wade will have 20/10 then disappear vs other teams.

Wood’s injury aside, these losses all stem from things they they chose not to address even before the Harden trade. You were supposed to get away from small ball entirely yet though only big they signed after Wood was Cousins, a guy coming off multiple injuries and rehab. Assuming Kurucs sucks (I’m gonna say he does, even though his highlights with the Nets are good), their entire lineup is full of guys ranging from 6’3”-6’7”, basically averaging around 6’5”. They basically show up every game undersized on top of being undermanned. It took them nearly the entire season to being in Spalding then Patton. They should’ve already had guys like that on the roster, but based on that, I have to once again assume they’re tanking without being out in the open with it. You don’t make decisions like that and try to say you want to compete.

Wish it could’ve fared better but with them trending younger, this should be the first domino to fall for multiple guys. PJ, EG, Dipo, Exum, House, and Kurucs should all be dealt, and KPJ, KJ Martin, and Mason Jones need to be given the ball. Being in some other lengthy PF/Cs and get this thing moving. See what you have with Wall and the young dudes.

I’ve been telling every Rocket fan I can that as it stands with the injuries and general roster construction, this team will not win many games going forward. I told people to not be surprised if they lost both Cavs games simply due the fact that Cleveland can put multiple lengthy guys on the floor while we have a bunch of 6’5”-6’6” guys and a big man playing his second NBA game. This is it until they make some moves.

Y’all know the deal. They’re getting totally crushed, but it’s clear that’s the plan. As long as people realize the front office has set this up like this, it’ll be less stressful.

Wall wanted to win so badly, I almost felt bad that they should've and did lose. He wanted to wipe the stench of the previous night's game away from him and props to him for doing that. Patton looked good too, and I know for anybody that watched portioned of the game you should've noticed he was subbed out at critical times. These decisions are intentional and coming form the front office, so ya'll should actually be at ease knowing that if you're watching. Cavs went on a 12-3 or so run to close the 4th, and that almost directly correlated with Patton being off the floor. Harden and the Nets coming in should demolish them for an ironic 13th loss at home.
