PJ and Cousins are a major liability. Cousins should not have the playing time he’s getting. Against certain teams, he simply can’t move, and they are just too small other than that. You can’t have some of these Pels players being as impactful as they have been.

Again, I’m gonna keep mentioning how there’s an active foul mandate on the Rockets until something changes. Wall shouldn’t be hitting the ground that many times only to receive nothing.

PJ and House gonna go. Cousins shouldn’t play more than 10 minutes. Everybody young needs to be on the court, including the RGV guys. If you feel EG’s value is good, put him on the market too.

I think the only thing that’s saving the Rockets from truly bottoming out is that other teams in front of them are also losing and everybody is clustered together. Ideally, Wood gets back and you’re not too far behind, you’ve dealt Dipo, PJ, House, and possibly EG, you being in a big (or 2), call up KPJ, KJ, Brodric, etc and make a move in the standings. I rather you ride with a bunch of young high energy guys and see where the chips fall than to die a slow death with PJ and Cousins eating up important spots

And coming into this season I thought Cousins was gonna be a major x-factor type player giving you about 16 pts and 9 or 10 rebs but he can barely jump, his post game ain't what I thought, he can't finish at the rim and his defense is below average to subpar
I don't wanna see those Stevie Franchise, Cuttino Mobley, Kelvin Cato years before they got Yao comeback. But with the cheapskate owner and all these older/injury prone players things might get worse before they get better.

They a good team when ALL of them at but we have an injury and a back to back, this what you get.

That might not have been they're whole era but they were in the middle of a 4 year playoff drought. After being in the 'offs for 8 straight years I'm not feeling a drought now. But I will continue to watch like I did then I'm just saying a week and a half ago things were promising but now it seems teams have caught up to the Harden-less Rockets and have a book on them. Adjustments need to be made now.

How are we as far as money since we got free of one pricey contract?

I don’t know what their exact money is, but heading into next year, you have to think they’ll be free of PJ, EG, Dipo, Exum, and Kurucs. That’s enough for a max and a second tier person. Wall and Wood will be (and should be) the only bigger contracts on the table heading into the offseason.
