Cavs had the same amount of all stars :stopitslime:

Do people want to pretend love and Kyrie aren't playing at a high level? Y'all want LeBron to be an underdog so bad. Stop calling him a top 5 all time player if that's the case
You're right, same amount of all stars. But the supporting cast of GS is significantly better.

Many think Lebron has or will have a legit argument to be the GOAT and he's playing with multiple all stars himself.

GS is obviously a talented team, but I don't why we have to make Lebron/Cavs seem like some huge underdog.
Not a huge underdog. But my post was a response to dude who said they would be the favorite.

I have the Warriors in 5. I think the Warriors has the communication and personnel on defense to make things hard on the Cavs while also having the offense that Cavs have yet to face. Toronto and Boston were too one dimensional in how they were looking to score while the Warriors just have so many ways to attack offensively. Boston didn't have anybody with a real chance of making it hard for Lebron and Kyrie which then kills the rest of the defense. I don't think Cleveland will get nearly as many open threes as I see them letting Lebron and Kyrie try and go one on one and sticking to the other Cavs. I think Cleveland's offense is just as dangerous as the Warriors but that Cleveland's defense won't provide as much restistance as the Warriors will.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
One thing we're missing is another black coach getting ring this year :blessed:

We know the warriors will play their death lineup the last 6 minutes.

How to the cavs counter? I don't think you can get away with playing tristian late in games when the warriors go small and the cavs don't have that reliable 4th wing who both can shoot and defend at the same time behind lebron and jr.

Green/Love
Kd/ Lebron
Iggy/ ????? shump or korver
klay/ JR
steph/ kyrie

If you play shump you can switch everything, but his lack of shooting closes the lane on the offensive side of the ball and makes it harder for lebron and kyrie to boogie on GS. If you plau korver, he will get P&R to death and the cavs will be in scramble mode which means GS will light up the city from 3

If Iguodala isn't 100% there is no death lineup.

Brolic... Alcoholics
I don't see the Warriors controlling the pace unless things go terribly wrong for the Cavs, the last two finals the Cavs have owned the pace vs the Warriors.

90.7 pace in 2015
92.0 pace in 2016

They aren't getting up 100 shots unless the Cavs are insanely sloppy with the ball.

Controlling pace isnt only about TOs or lack thereof but it's also about getting back on defense, even after a missed shot. How can a team ranked in the bottom 25 in defense this season possibly control the pace? And your stats are from a GS team without KD.

I'm trying really hard to find a reason to give the Cavs more than a game other than LeBron being that reason. And I just can't. Team much top heavy talent with the Dubs.

And like I said earlier in this thread, they just seem pissed off. Even Steph seems pissed. I've never seen him pissed.

Because they have controlled the pace of their games all season, and getting out and running against the Cavs isn't exactly easy because of the pressure Thompson/Love puts on you to rebound. You leak out too early and the Cavs have the offensive rebound. What does KD have to do with pace :wtf: he's not a primary ball handler, so I fail to see what his addition would mean to pacing, especially since the Jazz were able to control the pace against them.

If the Warriors control the pace the series will be over quickly, because things have gone terribly wrong for the Cavs at that point.

Warriors in 4.

The defensive problems still exist for the Cavs, these teams in the East just couldn't hit the open looks they were getting on Cleveland. The Cavs are in for a rude awakening in these finals. KD will get finals MVP

Mathematically, everything, given the number you posted are without him.

Team dynamics have changed. If you consider that, there's a possibility that stats will change.

The Cavs play at a slow pace, I don't see how that changes with KD, the Cavs are going to walk it up, milk the clock and run their iso-sets that burn a lot of time.
