Pistols and handguns would be fine. Only certain rifles would be banned.

However, I appreciate that you want to see something done to end or reduce these mass shootings.
So, you see, this is where the bans fall into grey areas. My draco is legally a pistol because of overall length and barrel length. However, it still shoots a 7.62 rnd. So what did we really ban?

No it doesn't.

The barrel itself only provides for longer effective range, it doesn't add bonus damage points or anything like that.

most mass shootings( per the made up definition to fit gun control angles) are committed with handguns.

You literally don't know what you're talking about.

A handgun can't do that sh*t^^^

The 200 guns that were already banned under the "Federal Assault Weapons Ban" that lasted from 1994-2004.

You wanted to ban rifles with 10 round mags and yet handguns can have more.......:gucci:

You don't know guns do you?
Gun control also includes limiting the amount of magazines for ALL guns. What do you think gun control is? :gucci:

A large part of the problem is that many of these people exhibit strange behavior or may be mentally ill ( and not clinically diagnosed).... but have not broken the law to have their rights taken from them.

NICS and state background checks should be able to do a better job at ID'ing people prohibited from purchasing... but that takes effort and paperwork, 2 things that states don't care to do in a timely manner.

But i'm not sure y'all realize how little it takes to lose your ability to purchase firearms in some states.

If you're law abiding and not mentally ill, you will be fine. I'm from NY, we have strict gun laws yet people still can own guns. Why can't this apply to all of America?

Unless your on the swat team or in the military you shouldnt be able to buy the bump stop or semi-automatic weapons period. And I know its about money but I would assume that most people buy handguns or rifles for personal use and hunting. Even after all the shootings I feel like more people would be running to buy hand guns, etc. I don't see how banning assault guns & bump stock would affect their business that much.
