His contract is too high. He's still gonna be good imo but not worth that much money. Understandably Houston knows they can't trade him and John wall won't accept a buyout cause there's too much money on the table. I don't know any contenders with a Wall sized hole who have the space to pay his type of salary. If he gets bought out peoole will scramble to take him in. But at his current salary it's unfeasible.

It's a shame. As a wizards fan I've rooted for him the past ten years. Then all of a sudden like a Gilbert arenas. You look up and you realize multiple games and seasons have been missed. And then you don't get hall of Fame consideration as a result. Miss a huge chunk of your career.

It's crazy. Six of the last number one picks from 2010 upto now are not playing. John wall, Kyrie, Ben Simmons, Anthony Bennett, markelle fultz, Zion ..

Wall in Cleveland :jbhmm: with Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen :leon:

But the Cavs already have Rubio

We don’t want him..we’d rather let love rot (take care of his mental and physical health until a buyout can be reached) and be injured…also we already have garland and Rubio. Look elsewhere.

wall wants to play and is capable of playing. The owner of the rockets isn’t going to buy him out unless it’s a lot given back. It’s no team right now who can afford to make him whole. I don’t expect a wall buyout to heat up until this offseason where he can make money back…and even than what teams that can contend need a PG especially one like wall. It’s a lot of average and above PGs in the league.

Our backcourt finally start playing well and this guy wants to play. Ain’t this some shyt:francis:. I agree the timing is is just weird. . There’s no market for him and Let’s be honest. It’s not all because of the salary. It’s because he isn’t that great.

mid he could play the CP3 role in OKC and Phx I’d be down but he showed last season didn’t want to do that. Dude wants to be hero when it’s not needed. Wall was putting up 30 shots at times last season. It was stat reveal that when he shot more tha 25 shots a game, his shooting percentage was 27%:francis:.

Man I don’t want to see Wall play. We don’t need his services for winning or losing….

NBA should fine them every game they do this and threaten to take draft picks like they did with us when AD didn't want to sit for us after asking out. Silver's a hypocritical limp dikk piece of garbage tho and lets every team that isn't New Orleans sit their stars as long as they want so I'm not expecting anything to happen :unimpressed:

I was wondering about the situation and if he wa willing to come off the bench. But that’s what I expected. You can’t bench green or kpj for him. He could’ve took the Eric Gordon role off the bench but he’s not interested in it. Dude isn’t interested in complimenting the direction the team is trying to go. He just wants to come and be a franchise player.

But he ain’t ready to come off the bench. The problem Houston has is the floor spacing issue. Silas and stone has figured out you can have multiple non shooters in the floor. We jsut bench Theiss and Nwaba because their lack of perimeter shooting. They don’t play Wood and Sengun together anymore. The dont is out shooters for non shooters. We had garrison Mathews starting in Green spot because he stretches the floor. Same with Gordon. Armoni Brooks(40% 3 shooter) comes off the bench first. Kj almost exclusively replaces Tate since they’re both below average shooters . The offense doesn’t work without the floor spacers.

If wall was to start you’d have to go smaller and sub out Tate(our best defender) because you can’t start Wall and Tate together. It would ruin the kpj-wood pnr

That was the conversation they had with him during the summer, specifically at summer league when the entire rockets team came out to support Green and get some reps in. They approached Wall about t coming off the bench and he didn’t want to and that’s when they came to the agreement mutually that he wouldn’t play . Wall wants to start and run the show
