I mean, I get what you're saying.. but you know damn well you don't want to watch your favorite bar heavy nikkas in that URL mainstage environment trying to change what they do and dealing with dumbass crowds. Put them nikkas in an environment where they don't HAVE to worry about changing what the fukk got them there in the first place.. either that or find a way to completely overhaul battle rap (yeah right).fukk Mr Wavy. nikkas acting like his performance is out of this world.. If that nikka lived anywhere other than NYC, Smack wouldn't give that fool the time of day.
Im sick of this performance nonsense being mentioned when it comes to battlers. At the end of the day, this is fukking rap, not acting/theater. If you don't want to see the best rappers rap then fukk you!
Ty Law has never been given a chance on a big stage so how can you say he can't perform if he's never given the chance?

It's the pressure to change and adjust to the stage that I'm getting at. I don't think it's a far reach considering all of these small room, bar heavy dudes acknowledge they'd need to account for it (sometimes after the fact) because it's proven to be different, and I don't think it's unreasonable to have a dubious outlook on it, given what we know and what we've seen in the recent.
I'd be the first one to celebrate if he got there and had success. But I'm in no rush to see it because, frankly, I have a negative outlook on it. Not saying it's impossible though.
Overall, I'd rather see Ty Law on the stage trying to make it happen then.. so, so many of these other dudes who are there.

Some do, some don't. Really, timekeepers don't do shyt or give a fukk at all unless A) they're pushed for time by the venue or B) one or both of the battlers is bytching about time or known to bytch about time. Honestly, if I was a league, I already paid the battler all of this money, I'm letting him rap for as long as he wants/is possible unless somebody is whining about it.
They're performing on stages, in theaters at times, so you can't just say it's "just rap". Performance is just as much as, if not more, of the overall equation. I told y'all the Head Ices and T-Rexs off the world probably get no more than 3 racks a battle. Could even be one or two. These guys don't get paid nearly as much as they say/ we think they do.
Why Danny Myers gave Rex 12k we'll never know, but dude's actual market value has gotta be 1/4th that. Hell, maybe Myers wants us to think he has big pockets and exaggerated that number too. Other wise I woulda stabbed somebody that owes me 12k.
Bottom line, don't believe these guys. Everything from Budden saying he got 200k for Total Slaughter to Daylyt saying Smack owes him 6 grand after Summer Madness has been proven false
