Also taking the bait. I legitimately think JC's peak performances (like his recent one vs Boom) are more memorable than Chilla's (like against Prep). They are both among my favorites, but there's something with JC's delivery and approach that requires absolutely no adjustment in my listening. For Chilla, I (and I bet all of you) have to get yourself ready to listen to Chilla. You have to slow your whole life down, remove all distractions and just listen to Chilla be Chilla. JC has a certain edge to his shyt when he's in the bag that is just undeniable.

I'd take either battle happily.

Lux was never as good as JC was vs Chilla. JC's A game>Lux's A game.

This is not really a discussion on JC vs Chilla.

This discussion is on who has a better chance of beating Lux. Just because I believe Chilla has a better shot than JC doesn't mean I believe Chilla is better than JC. Styles make fights.

JC is a better rapper than Chilla

In fact, JC as an actual rapper is one of the best in the game

Chilla is a better writer & does a much better job of creating material that can capture a large audience in a room.

1. Agreed. Hell I think JCs on his A game can beat the Lux that battled Calicoe.


2. Idk I don't think so. At least not right now. Old Chilla definitely. Chilla has been pretty underwhelming this year.

Sidenotes :

Magic and Daylyt would smoke Lux right now. Hell Magic has more of a chance at beating Lux than anybody discussed in this thread. Put Lux in front of the Magic that battled Chilla, DNA, Daylyt, etc. It'd be a wrap for Beloved.
