Lux didnt get bodybagged. Mook was just less trash.

To each their own, but I think it was pretty bad loss for Lux. He got 3-0 by a dude he's known for over a decade. That's gotta FEEL like a body, regardless of how well Mook's material aged. One of my boys that I grew up with washed me onstage like 10 years ago in an impromptu freestyle battle. That's my man, but it's still somewhat uncomfortable because we had a bunch of mutual friends in the building, actually I think my future wife was there.
It's old news, but on a random get together I might just walk in a room where his son is playing with my son, and out of the blue his son might be on some "Did you know my dad beat your dad in a rap battle?"
Thankfully there's no footage that I know of.

What the hell are you even complaining about? No one has ever "ignored" how Mook killed Lux.

You're trying to throw JC in there with Lux, which is what is making you look silly, and then getting mad that people don't take it very seriously. It's not as though Lux would be JC's first top tier opponent, or big stage opportunity... he's failed a few times before when he gets his big chances. He always drops the ball. He even went overseas to choke against Arsonal, creating a bodybag for a legend who really doesn't even try anymore.

I only look "silly" to lux nut huggers stuck in neutral in some place back in 2005, not accepting that the game moves on and yes, your beloved lux and mook are not the end all be all for battle rap and the game got bigger without them.

I just listened to several discussions on a potential lux vs jc where lux getting thrashed didn't get mentioned once. Again, fans have selective amnesia. When you battle enough , you will have some bad showings, who in the hell is making "having a perfect track record" the prerequisite to battle lux? Was this the standard for clips who spent half his career not having a 3rd and probably has more bad showings than any battle rapper you can name? Yet he got lux. So just stop it.

You might wanna sit this one out fam lol....your defense for Jc ain't holdin' up too well. The boy BEEN dope, but the fukk ups in his career outweigh his talent he like the James Harden of battle rap.

How can you argue that a lil nygga who drops the ball w/ every big opportunity deserves to go round for round w/arguably the best ever. Cause he can rap well??? Hell Danja Zone can rap very very well. Had the "glow" at one point an all that. You see where he at.

I can argue it because lux has dropped the ball. But because he lux he is immediately forgiven. You have some guys with momentum and fans ride the wave, nobody holds suge bad showings against him, nobody holds tay roc bad showings against him, at least for now. When the fans start getting sour on them, then the bad showings they had will be mentioned.

I don't judge match ups based on standards in track records because anyone who battles frequently will have losses and will have bad showings. It's easy to avoid that when you battle once every 3 years. Not holding that against lux he has a standing where he can do that , but if lux battled every month he would lose more, likely choke, have some bad showings. It happens

I look at style, skill, and yes you have to have some work put in, I won't insult lux like that, but someone mentioned nobody wants to see lux vs jc, and that is just more people down playing jc than being honest , put lux vs jc on ppv it sells a ton. Let's be real. Why? Because he has the talent to make it interesting.

Some are slaves to big names, so maybe for them it won't mean much to them. That's not me tho.if you good enough to challenge, you good enough to challenge.

he battled those guys 3 years ago, measuring body of work you don't throw that out there like that at that time, now I feel it's appropriate.

But your post only proves my point. Now suddenly since jc name getting thrown out there vs beloved now he suddenly done got killed by shine roc and clips lol cmon at least be real about it. Vs roc it was debatable (I always had him winning) shine was losing clearly until he did some Michael Jackson shyt in the 3rd and he didn't lose to clips either in fact that was one of jc best rounds ever. But now we want to change history so you can discredit him for lux? Cmon man.

I never disappeared on any so call jc loss I was the 1st to say he got washed by 100 bulletz, pull the receipts. But again, when did "can never have a loss or bad showing" become a requirement for a battle rapper to battle lux? And if that is a prerequisite, does lux getting washed equal him not getting certain looks and matches? Does that mean he don't deserve goodz?

For the record I don't hold mook againt lux or 100 bulletz vs jc, for me it's about skill talent etc. If lux wants to continue in battle rap then guys like jc is who I want to see him against not against bad battle rappers who only getting lux based on name.

If we are just looking at the last 4 or 5 battles dropped on the channel, they're on par with the golden era of Spitdatheat. It's just bar for bar funfests. They receive out of towners extremely well, and that's going to benefit their brand in the long run.
I do think they have to limit the newer guys to one rounders though.

Im not disputing Lux embarrased himself on national tv but imo he bodied himself with that trash performance more then due to Mook. Credits to Mook for selling his bars and stealing Hollow angles but vs anyone else slighty more interested then Lux he wouldve lost.

You're missing the point, I was talking about matchups. I was comparing the skills of the two, not the amount of losses. Lux is the worst kind of battler for JC as an opponent.

But he did get killed by Roc and Shine and Clips. all 3 of them overshadowed JC on the stage. That's my point. JC's strength is his bars, and in a battle with another "pen" nikka (Chilla/QP) he will always shine that's a good matchup for him. Whenever JC goes up against battlers with more than just bars, but charisma and presence (KShine/Roc/Clips) he loses or at the very least doesn't look as great.

Now you have Lux, who not only has a better pen than JC, but also has better stage presence than JC. So how is this a good match for JC, when not only is Lux better lyrically, but is a better performer as well? What does JC do that could beat Lux.

No one said that you could never have a bad showing to face Lux lol. Why are you making stuff up. It's not about losing, but it's about who you lost to and how. You can't ignore this, especially when it comes to determining matchups, because it shows strengths/weaknesses.

And I like how you don't put things into context either. Lux lost to MOOK, and has also beaten/had debateables with the best battlers in the game at that time.

JC lost to battlers weaker than Lux, and has only smoked lower tier nikkas.
