I’m glad the strike is over. I already knew that shyt wasn’t going to last. Back to business. I want to know the battles on the next URL, and RBE cards.
Oh,
and Verb and Mook is officially at a million views. RBE has it’s first million view battle.

I've been out of the neighborhood for a while now and my social circle is small and diverse, so I need some help understanding something that seems to be common and accepted -- Why do so many of these grown men, 30, 35+ go so quickly to social media to air out their beef? It seems to be a foregone conclusion that if these men read/hear something that they don't like, they will go straight to the feeds with it before having that 1:1 conversation. Sug and Top both said as much on their tweets that they saw something questionable, reacted loudly, publicly, and destructively, and THEN spoke to their business partners after the fact. Is this sort of behavior unique to the music and entertainment dudes, or is it incubated and normalized at the regular nig level? I'm asking this because it seems like the general reaction to this is such that the behavior is accepted and expected, while I'm sitting over here with the :dahell: at how this stuff happens and people keep it moving like it's not teenager movements.

What I find crazy about all this hitman talk is how even in battle rap the majority of fans will side with the brand over the guys that actually entertain them

It’s like a capitalist impulse we’ve all been bred to act on, amazing
the reason the country is fukked up right now, even peasants side with the business owner, american propaganda works

Frankly, if the battle rappers had their shyt together as a collective when it comes to not choking and always coming with at least decent rounds, people could side with them. Thing is they would need to actually know what kinda money they working with and develop ways to make even more for both. They literally decided to "strike" at the worst possible time.
