This is how out of touch he is. I just clicked his most recent interview. He's clowning K-Shine for battling on the middle of the card.

We all know that most battlers PREFER not to go last. K-Shine just wasn't able to really articulate this for some reason.
I didn't take it as out of touch, I think he just said it to play him. You have to push angles even if you don't agree, but you know the fans will buy into it.

Damn, didn't know Millz had cancer.

That's wild!

I'm glad the nyggas are starting to see that battle rap isn't necessarily a "step down." That's such an old school way of thinking.

I've been saying guys like Jae Millz, JR Writer, etc would probably benefit from battling again. That one battle will bring more attention then whatever their next mixtape is at this point in time.
It is a step down though, they didn't make it with their raps so they have to resort to this as their only option :mjlol: They had no choice. That's like someone willfully choosing to be broke and play And 1 street ball instead of going directly to the NBA and signing a million dollar contract. Who will do that? He had no choice so Millz is going back to this for relevance.

Hopefully he makes the most of it and doesn't come with whack bars.

How is it a step down when he WANTS to do it?

He seems pretty self aware and knows that the mixtape/battling is more of his lane and that he's never gonna be some mega star.

When King Los battled, was that a step down? It seemed like he really wanted to do it.

Lloyd Banks would like to do it.

The perception has changed. That era where you battled to get a deal is over. Battling can open up other opportunities and it's on the battler to uncover them and take advantage.

That WGH trailier is like a nightmare to watch.

@wizworld

I know youre a fan. You looking forward to Halloween Havoc 6?

Yes. One of the best battle rap cards of the year, but I don't talk about it because I know y'all don't care.

On a bigger level I feel as if B City deserves some type of honor from the city of New York. He provides a creative outlet for 100's of young adults in NYC. Local government is supposed to care about this type of thing.

Clips is top 5 or 10, what are you saying?

We never seen Lupe on a stage battling. I'm saying this as a Lupe fan, you need to chill.

Look at it from his perspective, he one of the pioneers of this shyt. Hiphop the only place where legends don't get the proper respect and people expect Jae Millz to battle for peanuts and diet coke. With this said I wanna see Millz kill Shine on stage and upset a lot of y'all.

At the same time battle rap is one thing where it's hard to predict. It would suck if they paid Millz a big bag and he went on stage and loss horribly. Even great top-tier battlers are able to have a bad performance, choke and stumble. We haven't seen Millz battle in years and when we did the level of lyricism in battle rap was lower, simpler. Now battlers have a way higher skill set lyrically so I wonder if Millz is going to be able to hang or if he will look horrible.

I think the way they should do it is pay both battlers a flat fee and the winner gets a bonus.
He couldn’t have a private convo with Smack about getting his credit? Smh

Sire Castro also beat Vado before Millz stepped in.
Don’t let that Millz L fool you, he was THAT nikka back then.

Damn, I ain't know he was that nice. That's crazy :ohhh:

It's fukked up we ain't get to see him in his prime cause it was before people was recording battles and putting them out like that.

He seems pretty self aware and knows that the mixtape/battling is more of his lane and that he's never gonna be some mega star.

You said it, he's not gonna be some megastar and because of that he is battling but if he could be a megastar with young money instead you think he wouldn't rather be a megastar. You think he wasn't trying to blow up and be a megatstar before? In fact, that's why he stopped battling and didn't battle in the URL era so he could take his career more serious.

Lloyd Banks would do it because he is lyrical, likes the culture and he knows he didn't work hard enough to blow up like he should have so he figures why not since he is not that big of a star.

When King Los did it was a step down, he did it cause his career didn't lead to much success aside from maybe writing for Diddy and being known as someone who freestyles very well.

With that said it can open the door to new opportunities, I mean look at Clips and them rapping on Wild N Out. However it's a step down imo from being a megatstar or even having a solid music career with a dedicated fan base because the money is not the same nor is the level of opportunity. I'm a fan of battle rap but even I have to admit it's not on the same level as being an artist with a fanbase and in fact battling right now is on the decline but I hope things turn around.

In his own words he claims he had a private convo with Smack and Smack went public first when Millz said he wanted 100k :mjlol: Which in Smack's defense is outrageous. Millz doesn't understand that Shady backed Total Slaughter, the URL don't got that kind of budget and Millz in 2018 won't yield that kind of return.
