Damn, I ain't know he was that nice. That's crazy
It's fukked up we ain't get to see him in his prime cause it was before people was recording battles and putting them out like that.
You said it, he's not gonna be some megastar and because of that he is battling but if he could be a megastar with young money instead you think he wouldn't rather be a megastar. You think he wasn't trying to blow up and be a megatstar before? In fact, that's why he stopped battling and didn't battle in the URL era so he could take his career more serious.
Lloyd Banks would do it because he is lyrical, likes the culture and he knows he didn't work hard enough to blow up like he should have so he figures why not since he is not that big of a star.
When King Los did it was a step down, he did it cause his career didn't lead to much success aside from maybe writing for Diddy and being known as someone who freestyles very well.
With that said it can open the door to new opportunities, I mean look at Clips and them rapping on Wild N Out. However it's a step down imo from being a megatstar or even having a solid music career with a dedicated fan base because the money is not the same nor is the level of opportunity. I'm a fan of battle rap but even I have to admit it's not on the same level as being an artist with a fanbase and in fact battling right now is on the decline but I hope things turn around.
