O-Red hasn't battled in a while. I think he's going to have some room shakers lined up for daylight but I don't really expect daylight to actually rap anymore, its one of those if it happens fantastic, but if it doesn't then oh well things which is sad since we're talking about people battle rapping.
Y'all gotta stop with the "deserve" Lux shyt. Pay him his asking price and he accepts, deserve has nothing to do with it.

that's not true. If that was the case then he would've battled daylight already when daylight told him he had the money for it. Lux might cost a lot but he doesn't just take any offer that comes his way. It has to make sense and be a huge match up. He doesn't just battle anyone but he doesn't duck either.

Daylyt woulda had a way bigger chance of getting Lux if he didn't do all that fukkery and just proved himself skill wise.
Lux has been on record sayin he doesn't feel comfortable battling Daylyt because as a man he doesn't respect his morals and actions.
Chilla has a way bigger chance getting Lux off respect alone.

Had to rewatch some of the PPV for B2B3 and I didn't know that The Deadman vs. Johnny Storm battled. They must've done it when everything else was over. Deadman 2-1 but Storm had some good shyt, too.
I'm tired of the nikka too. Problem is, he's so far outside of battlerap with his shyt that he ruins battles and no matter what, the opponents shyt feels wasted. The rwatch value of his bullshyt is so low that we don't even talk about the opponents bars unless someone is patient enough to go back, watch, and transcribe the shyt.
Real Deal had some shyt for Day. Nobody remembers.
B-Dot just about ate that nikka alive.. Replay value plummets because of Day's bs
QP had bars.. people barely heard them
the nikka is poison... and the sad thing is, that's his goal. I wouldn't be mad if Red just cut his shyt short if Day starts acting stupid. Save the bars for a nikka that shows some respect.

not saying i believe anything daylight says,I was talking about the deserving lux comment. When lux battles he wants people to get what they paid for, he puts on a show and he wants an opponent that will hold up his half of the match.That person has to be a draw that can sell the match and a lyrically dangerous to be legit competition. When lux battles all eyes are on him and you. You can't trust a guy like daylight to not act up with that kind of attention and you can't be sure just any battler won't fold under the pressure. Lux is really one battle that you earn.

I don't think Daylyt is gonna even try.
He's very self aware. If he tries to rap with O-Red he's gonna lose in a straight up battle. He's gonna take the battle in a completely different direction. If he "loses," it doesn't matter.
I've been saying for a while that Daylyt doesn't bring match as a battle rapper. In grind time, he was awful. He sounded like a guy that wanted to be rapper. The type on the corner wanting to sell his CD's talking about he rap & everyone knows he's garbage. That shyt Locksmith did to him was damn near the equivalent of Clips/Tay Roc. He's been battling for years. It took a year of antics for him to get his name hot. Now I'll give him credit. His pen game has came a looooong way. Seems like a guy that had to really work hard at it for years to get where he's at. He can rap well, but he's not as nice as he thinks he is & I believe he came to this realization some time ago.
This is my point of view on Daylyt. Sometimes he may have a nice round. If not a nice round, he's nice in spots. Or he may have a line here or there. I have never seen a Daylyt battle where all 3 rounds where dope.
His style is unconventional & terrible for battle rap. When he's straight to the point, he's very mediocre. The fact that his name even comes up as a potential opponent to Lux amazes me. Daylyt has NEVER none of the cold shyt Verb has come up. NEVER. We all know he's not close to Classic Verb. He's not even fukking with this flabby/shaky Verb. His first 2 rounds against Myers, Goodz, material against Brizz.
Man I'm glad people are finally waking up to Daylyt. He doesn't have any memorable moments straight up rapping.
I understand/respect most of the post, but not so much the bolded point. His rounds against Magic were incredible once rewatched and concentrated on (a la what we had/have to do for lux). His Oops performance was at least two very good rounds, memorable and one arguably classic round. The Chilla battle is polarizing but memorable for many, even the less patient battlerap fans.
But for every one of those, there's eight to ten total garbage battles. And that's just not acceptable. His record of bullshytting is worse than Clips, Verb, whoever.

I like the reality westcoast rap shyt he did against Oops. Maybe he should he try it more often. Westcoast emcees always sound better on some reality shyt. They sound corny trying to outbar nyggas. The most effective form of battling is east coast style battle rapping. They sound way better trying to "outbar" a nygga. When I hear nyggas like nitty, kg, daylyt, etc these nyggas sound corny. The midwest also has nyggas that can do "barfest" without sounding corny.
