Y'all need to get out more. The average fan doesn't say "Man Rex been slipping lately, I don't care to see him" they look and see a Smack event is coming up, and they ask they mans who's battling and if a nikka mentions T-Rex they'll be more inclined to go because of name value. I'm not trying to say Rex's name alone sells out a venue, but if you say "Rex, Hitman, Surf, Clips are gonna be on the card as oppose to "Chilla, Big Kannon, Bigg K, Danny Meyers", one card is filling up a venue of 1,000+ at 125 a ticket, the other probably couldn't get 300 to show up at 50 dollars a ticket. And the latter have won more battles recently and are more "lyrically inclined" but the average person who shows up to events doesn't give a fukk about that. They just want to see names they recognize.
