Am I a fan of Mook? Not at all. But I'd rather see Ars/Mook over Ars/Lux anyday. There would actually be tension in that matchup.

Matchups where they respect each other just turn into all bars-no personals fights. And we all know who has the better pen in this matchup

I agree with what you are saying, but if you are a promoter, and you have to pay Mook or Lux to battle and put on a show, who are you paying?

No matter how much a battle makes sense, it's really hard to justify paying a guy like Mook his asking price.

I also believe Arsonal would rather see Lux get that kind of payday over a guy like Mook.

I think as we get closer to the battle, I will get a little more hyped, but it's because I enjoy watching Lux battle. My expectations for Arsonal though are so low. This guy is battling Iron Solomon and Loaded Lux a couple of weeks apart.

With him changing his views and etc., I agree. He wouldn't be able to get away with it. However, he focused more on the music and he doesn't slack on writing. I think the difference between him and Iron is really voice and delivery. Over time, Iron's voice wasn't the same from the Scribble Jam days. And you could hear it when he was on Grind Time battling E. Ness. I think Soul Khan has something naturally raw about his voice and delivery that always helped him. Plus, the muthafukka makes some dope music for real. The shyt he raps over fits him and his style completely. Iron, on the other hand, I never got into his music like that. Had some ok tracks but it just felt like the beats and some of the content didn't suit him.

They are both great writers, cocky Jews and really creative. I have always held both of them in high regard, Iron especially was the shyt when he was killin' Flamez, Madness, Shirt' N Tie...but then he dropped the ball against Mook and you could see that he was absent for too long. It took a few battles later to see that he still has it, just not on the URL stage.

And I feel the same shyt would happen to Khan if he came back against any top tier at the moment.

Why you had to lie and say he was pretty ill?:hhh:
Hated how he had the longest set ups with no punches. :yeshrug:
You don't have to lie but why even bring up how you feel about his talent at that moment? It wasn't relevant or necessary

Alright.

So apparently Aye Verb's St. Louis retirement battle just came and went. I didn't see ONE post made about it, or inquiring about it's outcome.

I don't ever want to see a "Why won't Lux go to St. Louis" post on this board EVER, EVER AGAIN.

Aye Verb's biggest and most talked about battle on his retirement run is happening in the mecca :mjlol:
