The funny thing about this Caps vs Black Ice shyt is, the interview was going good until Caps got on the line. Tony Bro was doing a good job of challenging The Black Ice Cartel people without being disrespectful. Caps came on the line and shyt went all the way left. Caps is a fukking clown. Nice, dude is kinda like Danny Myers with street cred. It's interesting, you can hear Danny's influence in both LI the Mayor and 65 Hunnit. If this West Coast URL thing gets off the ground, are they going to show homage to Danny, since he influenced them? Or will they look at him as part of an era that they want to forget?

He said he was playing ball in the gym and Daylyt walked in and they started talking and Day told him he heard Surf's rounds for Aye Verb and how they were the greatest rounds he ever heard and it was gonna change battle rap, and the battle happens and Surf choked and got 3-0'd.
I think they do respect Danny lowkey for paving the way for "street" west coast battlers (Day kinda did too, but he went too weird), but I think they probably won't consider him much of a direct influence even though he is.

Man, as soon as Day would even say "Surf got..." I'd walk away. I think he makes great music still but don't fukkin' lie to me. He's probably the reason all the Surf stans come to his rescue whenever he has fukked up a battle. Lol. And its Daylyt. He has songs about being buck naked with a shotgun. I can only trust someone like that so much.
See, Danny is that nikka but so many people try to take an angle on him. The 12k thing, I understand but he obviously isn't hurting from it and 3-0'd Rex in the actual battle. He has done some things as far as his persona goes that has made him not so favorable. But no one has 3-0'd him. Clear 2-1? yeah, and there aren't that many of them given his record. I think its partially excuses now. The 12k thing got old so now people move on to how he writes and his delivery. I can't believe nikkas who like gun bars and all this drug talk cry about a nikka who yells in their battle verses. Its like, do you think when that shyt happens in real life they're always whispering and using their "inside voice"? LMAO. Clown shyt. His writing can be debated but I'd he is about 85%-90% on with his shyt. Swave is one of my fav. but I couldn't agree with him about how bad he thinks Danny writes.
