Over 5 thousand PPV buys. They made a little over 300K in PPV profits (not counting ticket sales)

Because people who know said it. I forget his name but he's involved with all the battle rap ppvs, he said this is the highest any ppv has done. Either Total Slaughter or Diz/Cassidy is second. Diz/Cassidy did over 4K
Diz also talked about it on Angryfan. And he hates Mook but he even had to give it up to him

Hollow/Lux was the highest before Total Slaughter. 2800 according to Mickey Factz
Lets say Mook got his 50k. That's still 250k left. Then all the other battlers got 5k. Los probably got 10k. That's still what 200k left to be split however between the RBE staff? Unless my math/logic is wrong. But that's two doctors salaries off an event.
Yeah you also have to count for travel expenses and hotel rooms, maybe car fare etc..but still that's probably just another 5-8 K. So yeah they probably netted 175-200K.
I'll check out that Diz interview. He always seems privy to all the business behind the scenes. I don't mind listening to him, because he can be very logical, although he's a nutcase at times.
I don't believe the URL lost, because they pretty much follow their business model. Both URL & KOTD have a huge aversion to risk, which has allowed them to stay around all of these years. After seeing these numbers (if true), I believe the URL would be confident to book someone like Mook.
RBE took the risk, and it worked.
URL missed out on "the return," but the thing with Mook is that I don't believe his stock dropped in anyway. Despite whatever I think of his performance, whether he lost, I know he's going to draw. He has so many options as far as battles are concerned. You got Surf, Hollow, & Tay Roc. You even got guys out there like Arsonal (ARP really likes this battle). I do believe the whole PPV thing will get dry at some point, so I really think he should become really active these next couple of years.

I had faith in RBE. As long as they weren't on some one and done shyt with this event this year, I am with them. But yeah, i heard Diz say the same thing about the numbers. Salute to RBE.
