I'll check out that Diz interview. He always seems privy to all the business behind the scenes. I don't mind listening to him, because he can be very logical, although he's a nutcase at times.

I don't believe the URL lost, because they pretty much follow their business model. Both URL & KOTD have a huge aversion to risk, which has allowed them to stay around all of these years. After seeing these numbers (if true), I believe the URL would be confident to book someone like Mook.

RBE took the risk, and it worked.

URL missed out on "the return," but the thing with Mook is that I don't believe his stock dropped in anyway. Despite whatever I think of his performance, whether he lost, I know he's going to draw. He has so many options as far as battles are concerned. You got Surf, Hollow, & Tay Roc. You even got guys out there like Arsonal (ARP really likes this battle). I do believe the whole PPV thing will get dry at some point, so I really think he should become really active these next couple of years.
Are you kidding me? After finding out this is the highest grossing PPV ever Mook is about to demand half a million for his next battle lol.

Lux would be foolish not to take Verb next.

Despite the fact that Mook was responsible for a huge bulk of those sales, that battle also exposed the casual fan to Aye Verb. Many of those fans took a liking to him, and believe he won the battle. He proved to be a very strong B side leading up to that battle.

I don't like all that funny talk Lux was doing on PSA, when his last battle was Arsonal.

:mjlol:Listening to the Diz interview on Angryfan.

Caps is too dumb to have this conversation with. I think some of these battlers need to give a call to Diz to get a better understanding of the game.

I don't think 3 Letterman is great at these kind of conversation either, but I feel he knows his limitations more than Caps.

So Mook/Verb is the highest selling PPV in battle rap history.

Smack lost

Polo's inside the building analysis of how ARP was moving during the event must have been dead on. He said them RBE dudes were all walking around happily eating hot wings, looking like they just hit a lick hahaha

I hope someone gives Mook some money for his next battle soon. I'd much rather hear him promo an upcoming battle, than hear him still Juelz-ing the L.

Forgot all about this shyt. :dead:

This battle was essentially turned to immaterial after the Mook joint. I really feel like if ARP never released it nobody would've ever asked about it.

I can't lie, I think all these battles will drop and be a surprise to us because we forgot about it once Mook and Verb went down. Lol.
Even though the card was successful.

I remember when ARP came in the game. He was very "pro battle rapper." "Yeah battle rappers should battle where they want to."

I guarantee he felt salty every time "his guys" battled outside RBE. Let's take J Murda. Remember how he was giving him all these looks, and then this dude does a PG? You stopped seeing him on a few RBE cards for awhile.

How about embracing Craig Lamar, giving him looks, and then he goes to the URL and does a PG?

Oops has been lowkey battling on Street Status & KOTD recently. Why isn't he battling on RBE?

I'm gonna be watching Jimz. If he's not on the next couple of cards, I'm gonna start thinking ARP felt some type of way with him battling on the URL.

For RBE to be able to elevate, they need to create their own talent. I do respect they were able to put their stamp on guys like Jimz, Showoff, Oops, & Jmurda. They were never really URL guys. It's more than UDubb ever did. Only guy Udubb ever pushed was Rad B.

For me, that's the next step for RBE. However, are they trying to be a league with their own talent? Or are they just cool with throwing events reaching out to guys and just making battles?
