It's not just rappin tho fam. Buddens got out there and just "rapped" and he was boring at times. I seriously don't think that eminem in 2014 would beat mook, lux, or clips

Buddens fukked up by acting Hollywood and breaking his own momentum. His rapping was ok but he gave the battle away with that extra shyt.

He doesn't have the presence or animation that is required to go against the modern street battlers. Unless you got a Delorean that takes you back to 97/98 to pill popping Em when he was tight with Outsidaz, he has no chance.

By real success, I mean multiple battles in real venues (not fukking total slaughter type shyt) against established battle rappers. Yeah I could see Pap being able to generate the content to battle. I'm not so sure about his voice/delivery since even on beat sometimes his shyt seems forced. But he has that classic URL type feel.

What about Busta? Dude can switch up his cadence and delivery with no issue, and he's probably one of the best at playing for his crowds. nikka had like 4 million germans going bananas off a 1 minute ante up intro.

If that Ab/Daylyt shyt was a legit battle, that was pretty good on Ab's part delivery wise. A little low energy, but that's probably more the environment.

I would like to see a grimy cat like Sean Price drop monkey bars on a nikka. A Pharaoh Monch or Crooked I would have the pen game and delivery to compete. They don't need to perform like a battler for me (save all that gun dancing, word breakdowns, slow it downs, pulling words out the sky), stick to spitting that shyt. A trash talking nikka like Nore would be hilarious in a battle format.

And all that extra shyt u named is a part of todays battle rap. We are entertained by Hitman doing impressions of big ass guns or Con slowing it down etc.
This aint the early 2000's where u just have to spit robotic..we want lyrics and performance my nikka..at least the passionate fans do..
