The description around 3 mins in is gonna be stuck in my mind for a while



Osgood Perkins makes 3 star movies that look like 5 star movies...I think that's true for 90% of his output. The shots are beautifully cinematic, while everything else about the movies are somewhere from mid to good, rather than great.

Blackcoat's Daughter is my exception, of course. I love that one.

it pretty much was...that isn't a bad thing necessarily...the film was entertaining enough, decent kills/gore...but pretty paint by numbers.

that's why the 94% was a little surprising.
