I went into that shyt with caffeine and a wide open mind and I still don’t get some of the love for it. Just ain’t for me, lol.

I don’t hate it like The Outwaters. I just feel…nothing.
It was beyond experimental trash. Would have worked better as an interactive exhibition.

so is hurry up tomorrow considered horror?

seeing it tomorrow (mostly for Jenna)...and it looks like one of those mind fukk no real plot ass movies
I see it listed as a thriller, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's got straight up horror elements mixed into the insomnia stuff. Weeknd seems like a horror head, he had his own haunted house at one of the Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights that I went to.

@storyteller Caught Grave Torture just now off your mention the other day. It’s a bit of a slow burner but with an effective concept that’s creepy enough to linger in my head well after the viewing.

Very much EVIL. I’ll say the ending is intense but the shoddy CGI took me out of it. I really liked just about everything else outside of that closing act, especially the washing machine scene. :dead:

Definitely a slow build-up, but carried by the fact that the entire movie is on demon-time. I like how they merged messed up evil behavior from people with the supernatural stuff, and the "skeptic FAFO" premise is a personal favorite.

The CGI is definitely a weakness :mjlol: . But the final act got to me, mainly by using a bunch of claustrophobic scares. I like that the slow burn turns into absolute chaos for the last 20-30 minutes.

Random Aside: Because of my fear of tight spaces, the most a movie has gotten under my skin was the cave scenes in Thirteen Lives...that's not remotely a horror movie. It's a drama about kids stuck in a flooded cave and the scuba divers that saved them. But that ish had my stomach in knots more than any horror movie has in years.

AMC has a horror movie preview in some theaters on Monday, and it's showing near me. They listed the run time, and it just so happens to be an exact match for Together...so I'm really hoping I get a sneak peak at it. I'll be hype if it's any of Weapons, Bring Her Back, or Together. But any horror will do, yall know me.

Seems like most folks over on the AMC sub are thinking it’s Bring Her Back. Good looks on this because I had no clue.

Watched Final Destination Bloodlines today. I'm not sure if the high score is warranted, but I didn't leave the theater thinking it was trash. To me it was a decent ride. The best part of course were the creative deaths that occur throughout the movie. I feel the deaths were pretty well done.

Tony Todd was briefly in the movie but had the most impactful scene to me. Rest in Peace.
