Remember that Friday the 13th series as a kid, that shyt was trash

Yeah, it was trash. It didn't even connect to Friday the 13th, it was an anthology series they renamed to get people to watch .

The crazy thing is they did something similar with Freddy's Nightmares. But at least Freddy's Nightmares had a first episode that acted as a Prequel to the original Nightmare on Elm Street.

Both series are basically poor man's versions of Tales from the Crypt.

I watched that Freddy nightmares 1st episode for first time in maybe 30 plus years and I didnt realize how low budget it was lol

Since it's Friday the 13th after decided to toss one on after work today. Ended up watching Jason Takes Manhattan. This shyt is hilarious

Cheesy 80's soundtrack
Principal was definitely a pedo
Jason being a dikk for no reason

And of course the main reason to watch this. Breh trying to shoot the fair one with a killer like Jason

How fitting the last Jason movie I need to see is on Jason’s birthday, the only F13 this year, and the last movie of the OG franchise (not including FvJ).

My blu ray player is slowly going out and not loading some movies, but Jason X loaded up.

Also, didn’t even notice it was gonna be F13 until I listened to Chris Jericho’s interview with Kane on his podcast.

I watched the OG F13 today.
Stills holds up. Classic slasher . The ending is one of the best in horror history.

I liked Jason X. Lots of kills and better than Jason Goes to Hell. It kind of get comedic somewhere past the midpoint, but I’m fine with that.

Checking out some of these mini-docs. I gotta see Bay of Blood/Twitch of the Death Nerve. One of the earliest slasher films.

I watched Bay of Blood for the first time last year and F13th was definitely influenced by this movie.

One thrid of the film is a F13th beat for beat. Theres alot more to it that separates it from other slashers to makethe movieits own thing.
