Big spoilers of the identities of the a$$hole Peter Parker and the a$$hole Spider-man running around in the ASM title right now.

Yknow what? I'm ok with this. Of all the changes that have happened in spider man in the last few years, I've enjoyed his change and I enjoy him showing up before they eventually change him back

Batman #1 peak Batman without doing too much. New status quo could lead to some cool fukkery. Perfect example of how I can never get down with the grounded bs they've been forcing in movies. The DCKO preview looks nuts. I'm in.

I liked it :ehh:

Granted, the inner monologue early on reminded me of Hudlin’s run, which I knew immediately would put off some “purists” lol but i thought the writer did a good job for a mostly setup issue.

In general I just think it’s a refreshing pivot to explore space politics
Am I the only person who liked the Hudlin run?

It looks a lot better now in hindsight. Especially with what they've done to the character, but I wasn't a fan myself
.
that's fair but I always thought Hudlin's run fits Hickman's run its just Hickman is better at "showing" than "telling" in his writing. Like Hudlin would have basically wrote out Black Panther's thoughts before he did some amazing feat, meanwhile Hickman would surprise the readers along with the other characters when Black Panther did some amazing feat. Both runs BP is basically styling on everyone, is smarter than everyone, and . Like Time Runs Out BP, Reed, Miles, Doom, and Strange are the only 616 survivors. Both of them fit alongside the idea of space empire Wakanda too.

Though I think we agree Coates run makes everyone else's runs look better.

Flipside I actually think Jason Aaron BP Secret Invasion is maybe the defacto BP and would make a great BP3 movie leading to maybe Space Empire Wakanda.

Wow. That issue just became very valuable for collectors

Also I heard it's because dude praised Charlie Kirks death on Blue Sky (his account is suspended now so I can't confirm)

Read Absolute Martian Manhunter 6 and The Kryptonite Spectrum

MM6 was really good. I was hoping we would get more solid understanding of the Darkseid reveal but I guess that comes after the break. That cliffhanger is interesting just on how far they plan to take it.

TKS is fun. I wouldn’t mind some of these variations becoming standard. Reminds me of the randomness of silver age stories. The art takes some getting used to. The women are hideous looking
