. Most of gen Z sadly has an basic understanding of tech, but are mostly tech illiterate and media illiterate. Bad combination to have, but that's mainly here in the U.S., can't speak outside of that.That's one thing that I still don't understand to this day. People literally spend hours upon hours a day watching someone play a game or just talk. I tried to watch the Kai one with K Hart and I could only sit there for 30 mins because I felt I was wasting my day not doing anything constructive so I went to the gym and then out to a lounge to listen to live music. But people are so isolated and stuck in these online coc00ns and wonder why their actual lives aren't panning out like they want to. They literally are trapped in the Matrix and continuing to take the blue pill because it's more comfortable than working on being a better person in the real world.

I know and interact with a lot of people who are gen z and zillennials (that's me) and we didn't really expect them to take such a hard turn. Conservatives and MAGA taking over the internet right under are noses was a mistake.

What really was the problem is that last decade was the decade that white men bytched and moaned about how they was being left behind due to how every minority was gaining success and even their own women was surpassing them. Obama being in office in 8 years also drove white America off the deep end which led to the rise of the alt right trying to do a course correction in which they just turn to suicide bombers if they don't get their way. Every community space that exist in the internet pretty much has been infiltrated.
