Exactly. There's no arguing with the FO, Pop is the FO.

How many coaches you know have as much control as Pop?

Again...did you know who Pop was before Duncan and did you know who Phil Jackson was before Kobe? :patrice:

I would take Duncan over Kobe obviously, and i'm not trying to shyt on Kobe at all. In all actuality, it's hard to compare them cause they both play vastly different positions

Yall nikkaz kill me..whens da last time you or anyone could actually say tim Duncan was a better PLAYER than Kobe :comeon: . Forget their awards and team achievements, by ACTUALLY WATCHING basketball for the last 15 years( not just looking at stats and listening to these idiots on espn) like seriously what year could you say he was better?:why: Tim Duncan hasn't been better than kobe since 1999. Ive never heard nikkaz say Duncan, it was always nikkaz saying Lebron, T-mac , Shaq, Wade, and now Durant but never Tim Duncan:lupe:

Chicken or the egg, bottom line, Pop is a constant in Duncan's career. That's a luxury maybe no superstar in history has ever had. And he did help create the plan to get Duncan in the first place right?

surrounded by all stars? Manu first all star game was 05 and then his next one was 2011.

Parker first all star game was 06 and he's made it 4 times since.

D-Rob last all-star game was 2001 and he made it 3 out of the 5 years he played w/Duncan.

Kobe has played w/Eddie Jones, Shaq, Gasol, Bynum, Howard, and Van Exel.

So Duncan has been surrounded by all-stars his whole career and Kobe hasn't?

talking bout his failure in olympics braugh.

So Duncan having the same coach his whole career is a negative against him?

fukk type of remedial ass reasoning is this?

Gimme Timmy in a no contest...

Has been a top 10 scorer

Has been a top 10 rebounder

Has been a top 10 shot blocker

Plus if you take Kobe, well...don't you also need Phil to coach him and another Hall of Fame big man to play with Kobe...unless you just trying to be the 8th seed or not make the playoffs

How many times have a Duncan missed the playoffs compared to Kobe? How many times have Duncan "led" the Spurs to the 8th seed as compared to Kobe? "but but but he played w/Smush Parker" is what i'm expected to hear in your response.....
 I'll do you one better...he had to play w/ Kwame Brown

the fact articles like this are popping up now that Duncan has a chance to match Kobe's five rings should tell ya'll nikkas everything

remember when Kobe was getting ring #4 and #5 , no one was talking about Tim Duncan

this just proves Kobe's the superior player

only Kobe haters are now springing up to claim Duncan is better

when the reality is that if Kobe had some other nikka carry him to the finals he'd be told that his legacy was being damaged rather than enhanced

Parker is the best player on the Spurs and willed them to the finals. He won the last finals MVP. Imagine if Gasol was doing what Parker did. Kobe would be getting annihilated.

Duncan whether he wins or loses is not better than Kobe. PERIOD. Everytime they've played against one another should make that clear.

Hatred fuels these conversations lol. You can't reason with these nikkas lol.

Guys have a one track mind when the player in discussion is Kobe. I've never seen anything like it. Not really sure why you people go back-n-forth for pages. :russ:

So, the fact that retards never discussed Tim Duncan means nothing. As fun as perimeter players can be, the first half of the 2000's was dominated by SHaq, TD, and KG. Those were the best players in the league, they were the ones winning MVP's.

Just because you retarded kids were obsessed with perimeter players doesn't mean shyt.
