But could that Ghostwriter spit it like Twista tho?

That ghostwriter bandwagon hoopla that people got caught up in this year never meant much to me after The Wu admitted in the 90's that they share ideas off of each other. Not to mention when Nas took the line "Lifes a b*tch but god forbid the b*tch divorce me I'll be flooded with Ice so hells fires can't scorch me" from Cormega. Its like, whatever.
Nothing wrong with ghostwriters, even Mad had em. It's when your whole label is writing for you and you contribute nothing. The Drakes of the world

Guarantee it was later in his career.

Y'all really don't understand what goes on. Damn near all of the popular mainstream artists today outsource their lyric writing. They're just performers.

Back in the day, if you were considered a real MC it was sacrilege to not write your own rhymes. At the same time, ghost writing has been going on forever.

DOC wrote for Dre, Eazy, Snoop, probably a lot of others. Biggie wrote for Kim. It's nothing new.

Twists was a beast in his prime, guarantee he was writing his stuff early on at least through Kamikaze. As these guys get older and established they get lazy and start outsourcing.

But it's commonplace for mainstream rappers today to outsource. A lot of labels employee a pool of writers and producers that their artists are required to use. That's why you'll see 12 writers credited on one track when you look at the liner notes.

I think the most important question is, when were ghostwriter's used?:jbhmm:

Because if this was during the Adrenaline Rush through Kamikaze era then.:mjcry:

If it was post Kamikaze to AR 2007 then it would make sense since I always felt that something was off during that period.:patrice:

I'd almost guarantee it was after Kamikaze.

I remember some poster here saying Twista is the GOAT rapper :laff::laff::laff: #onlyonthecoli
I remember who it was now. It was a lipstick-wearing dude who kept shytting on Nas ("Nacho cheese, I'm Castro"). What happened to him?
