I'll give it a try. I think being vegan will be much too hard, though. We'll see.

it's hard at first and for good reason
the designer foods of the American diet downgrade the sensitivity of your taste buds because they are designed to be intense (this is a ubiquitous feedback homeostasis buffer mechanism of the human body found in all systems)
in addition they pack lots of calories with little nutrition and our brains are designed to look for high calorie low effort foods
so it takes a bit of time to get your brain and taste buds used to it and get over the addiction.
this is why it is important to cheat as little as possible (like trying to quit crack and taking a little bit of crack once in a while)
if you look at the forks over knives extended interviews one of the docs discusses this at length and I think I experienced it when I switched. but all you can do is try, remember make it convenient and do your homework, it takes time to get a good weekly menu established.

What do you think brehs. I just watched this last night:

Forks over Knives - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And while I would never go vegan or even vegetarian, I was thoroughly convinced that I definitely should scale back my meat intake. This year has been big for me in that regard. I took a course in Plant Genetics and Diversity this semester and it really changed my outlook and interest in vegetables and plants. I will never full give up meat; i love a good cut too much. However, I am thinking that it may not be so bad to start trying to eat some plant based protein in the form of nuts, legumes, and modicum of soy along with the meat I do eat.

thoughts?
Forgot about your thread, breh. :snoop: I'll be reading it and asking there.
