I'm pretty sure you can find something in either 4 of the main cities......
But if you're looking to get involved with the government and be in a stable work environment Huntsville is always going to be at the top. Whether your job lasts or not, you will have clearances that can help you transfer and find other jobs.
Birmingham is a big enough town where I'm sure they will have a lot going on.
Have to search the job sites and see what each area is offering.
Basically this is Alabama.....Huntsville is heavily involved in national government activity, Birmingham is a medical and banking hub, Montgomery is the state government center, and Mobile is heavy in port activity. There's manufacturing scattered all over the state. You just have to decide what area is more interesting to you.

Used to drive to country ass Fort Valley every weekend when my baby brother was going to school down there & I loved driving through the country & seeing the rest of GA outside of Atlanta
Braves never fukked with the state of Florida off GPToo close to Atlanta. Alabama is a satellite state for Atlanta pro teams for the most part and they want to keep it that way. Only exception is prolly mobile nikkas prolly will root for the saints over the falcons.
