Tbh it feels like the MCU and the others just don't really respect the source material like that, and it doesn't feel like it gets the push. Not to mention how being faithful isn't as big of a deal for the West as it is for Japan. Imagine if One Piece had the creative liberties you see in the MCU their would be a giant outcry
Imo it's because american comics be default don't stick to the source material, imagine if they had as many versions of Naruto as they did Batman or spiderman, not fanfictions, but legit alternate universes Shounen jump put money behind and promoted as Naruto. Fans would be burning those offices to the ground within weeks
They show way more respect to the OG creators in Japan than they do here, that's why we only see the same handful of heroes here

it's easier and cheaper for an author to just take the superman character and world and force their story to happen there instead of creating a new original character and universe.
It's hard AF to get into American comics for that reason, how are people supposed to know what's "canon" or not? shyt is all over the place
Tbh I don't really care about subs vs. dubs, but I do admit on a consistent basis Japanese voice actors hit a higher and more consistent level you don't see in dubs. I feel part of it has to do with the language itself, and it lends itself more to voice acting than live action. Like Atsumi Tanezaki voice Anya, Frieren & Gyokuyou. That is some insane range.
America does have really good voice actors, but usually they only work on American cartoons, and they are usually paid way better because they are legit serious actors, protected by the unions.
like Invincible for example, spends a TON of money to get Seth Rogan and them to do the voice work every season, shyt might cost more than the animation in some episodes.
Meanwhile a a Dub of a Japanese anime is typically gonna use the same handful of American voice actors, they get paid poorly but they don't care because they can work on 10 anime at the same time, it's a clear quality drop
