Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Money.

Power.

Respect.

If you have testosterone running thru your bloodstream and still got your balls attached, all you want is Money. Power. Respect.

Thats what all men want... This is how we are wired as men...

Sure its some paid, powerful, and respected brothers doing their thing.

But not many. And not enough.

Women will fall in line once we achieve our goals.
that's the perfect answer... nothing can't be solved by money, power and respect

"Is it peace? Love? Is it self-actualization? Money? Do Black men really want fifty acres of land and a mule? I also wonder how they know that what they want will give them the experience they are searching for? What if the thing Black men truly want is an intangible experience? What does freedom feel like? What does peace feel like? How will you know it when you experience it if you have never had it? As Black men search through and query life, what is it that you need, want, and expect from Black women?"

- excerpt from The Spirit of a Man

Your not going to get a good answer, because half of the posters are white, pretending to be black.

As a black women, what do you want..
And what do you want from blackmen

What i want from black men is to not be compared to other races of women...other races of women don't have the history of slavery, discrimination, etc like we do.

I would like to feel protected and cherished by black men. I've been called a bytch by my father and other black men in the past. I didn't deserve to be called that.

I would like to not be classified as a gold digger just because i desire a black man who can and wants to provide for his family. Other races of women are allowed this luxury and are not called gold diggers.

From the rest of the world i need for them to see that black woman are just as feminine and valuable as any other race of women. I personally get tired of the whole "strong independent black woman" theme. I can be strong but usually it's cuz i have to be. I don't want to be strong all the time, sometimes i want to fall back and let the man be strong.

Thats it for now.

Why was this moved to the locker room? TLR is for shyts and giggles. Now instead of having a serious productive conversation it's going to be a bunch of trolls derailing the topic and saying silly shyt.

I've noticed anything of real substance and value that we can benefit from as black people gets bushed, deleted, or moved. Like this thread.

Smh...it's some funny shyt going on on this site.

Black men dont know what we want yet as a collective

We've been told we should be this and that. And being a black man means being this or that so much so that we have no idea.

You grab a group of 100 black dudes and pull them aside and ask them what they really want. Most will say, Money, cash hoes....

The rest will just say money and still the rest will be like "I don't know" :yeshrug: M

Hence why the locker room so split, have these dudes dont know what they really want and by the time they start figuring it out they 40 with kids, and all kind of baggage

It's not our fault really, its the hand we were dealt and all things considered we are doing pretty well.

Honestly most black men I feel like just want to fit in, and thats because as youth fitting it and being black was essential to not being clowned or roasted.

We then turn around and take that into everything we do, from work to relationships. Constantly trying to be cool, funny, standout or extra fly.
