I’m new to this supplement shyt …. I don’t know what to take…… right now I’m taking only protein powder and creatine….. what yall recommend?

We can’t recommend anything with knowing what you may or may not be lacking in your nutrition or in general. Anyone can tell you you take anything but you may not need it or possibly shouldn’t take it based on your medical history.

Assuming you are training, creatine is no brainer. Outside of that make sure your nutrition, sleep and training are dialed in before diving into supplements.

Had my physical two months ago ….. everything was pretty much good

when i break my fast in the afternoon.

Anybody ever high dose vit d? Like 20,000-50,000iu a day?

The D3-k2 I take is 10,000 IU per pill. I've been taking 1 or 2 a day for almost a year and feel fine. I havent had recent bloodwork tho. Dr. Berg said taking super high doses is cool but i dunno :patrice:

The D3-k2 I take is 10,000 IU per pill. I've been taking 1 or 2 a day for almost a year and feel fine. I havent had recent bloodwork tho. Dr. Berg said taking super high doses is cool but i dunno :patrice:
Yeah I've been hearing a lot about how it's made people feel and a few people warning about vit toxicity. Just gonna increase it slow and look out for any side effects. The one I got has k2 and also gonna take zinc and magnesium with it.

They we're giving me prescribed vit d at only 5000iu per week. To me it's not doubt we need more than most would recommend so I'm gonna start at 10000 per day.

They said black folk are naturally deficient in Vit D and that our melanin causes us to absorb it slower from the sun.
You definitely need the K-2 so it can route the calcium into your bones

5000iu per week seems way too low, but i dont really know shyt

@Trav you got Vit d3-k2 in your stack?

I would be careful with that. I take 5000iu daily and my last labs had my reading at 95 on a scale of 100. I get we need more but what level are you trying to “hit”?

Point being my labs were fine with a fairly standard dose so be aware of what you are trying to achieve. 10K seems like over kill
