It's a vicious cycle. If I get to a point where I feel like I can't share anything with you without you throwing it in my face down the line, then what's the point of being together?

Because I want it to work. I want my 150% effort to fill in her 50%. That's unhealthy though. I think I need to realize that the mutual respect, compassion and drive to better ourselves and our relationship just isnt there. smh

I wasn't commenting on your situation exactly so much as just making a general comment about where my thinking has been in that situation in. Though your situation does sound pretty unhealthy and unsustainable. I understand wanting to make it work though.
