why do you all act like black people are having so many kids though? black people have held steady at about 13% of the population for decades. we aren't breeding enough if you ask me. if we want more power we need more numbers.

It's this little thing called getting to know a person. Nobody just turns into a bum ass nikka over night. They were always a bum ass nikka. Are you really suggesting that it is too much to expect a person to thoroughly vet the person that they PROCREATE with? It's kind of a big deal that is worthy of caution and thoroughness wouldn't you say? That doesn't take men off the hook for their gross derilection of duty in far too many cases but this idea that there is no way a woman could know a man ain't shyt beforehand or worse yet it's crazy to expect her to vet him thoroughly to make sure first is equally disturbing.

Much of the stats thrown around in this thread are about the African American community. So I'm not gonna let you slide and move the goal posts.

You could also help encourage the men in your life who have children to not just to be physically present but also a quality parent and role model...

Honestly, I already do all of this in the community work I do. All of the men in my family take care of their children. In reality, the people who need to hear this the most aren't gonna receive it.
