The fact you said cooking anded cleaning is an ordeal is shockingly basic

Are you seriously saying that lawn and trash is the only thing that a man would be responsible for? What about plumbing issues, electricity, renovations to the house ect. Some shyt is DIY, but if you want something done properly most times you paying for it. IMO a man would be responsible for that as well so i dont see your point

So since you can outsource your "manly tasks" (because I know damn well you can't fix a car or a some leaky plumbing), hope your cool with take out and maids.

Didn't click the vid, but I feel for y'all Gen Zers and millennials.

In my heyday, women, that could cook, (hell, the ones who couldn't, would still try). would break their necks to get you with a plate of food.
We keep telling y'all. And y'all why #GMB and MGTOW is a thing.

Good women who can take care of themselves financially have realized they shouldn't be responsible for taking care of you as well.

That's the pharese people take for granted: take care. Some folks really don't know how to take care of themselves.

Cooking, like other things, is a skill. It's actually a financially beneficial life skill.

Ain't no excuse to not learn some skills of your own.

If you a dude and can't cook nor clean up after yourself, what the fukk is wrong with you?

If you don't know how to cook, fine, that takes time and building up a palette only comes with experience and some people are more talented at this than others. But you know what, youtube is free.

Not picking up after yourself, nor keeping things tidy and organized though, smh.

Man up.

So are working class wives expected to do all those things all the time?
Yes, because they are with a man who has officially committed to them, so she is supposed to do that for that particular man. As a girlfriend, you don’t have that role. Doesn’t mean you don’t cook ever.
Just like a “boyfriend” would be silly to pay a girl’s rent. But that doesn’t mean he can’t help her with something occasionally.

Now if you find a girlfriend who wants to perform wifely duties daily, kudos to you.
And if a woman finds a boyfriend who wants to perform husbandly duties, kudos to her
🤷🏾‍♀️

If she’s working y’all gotta share them chores. Brehs be wanting provider/leadership perks without providing/leading

:mjlol:
THANK YOU!

Women sound “lazy” and “ungrateful” when we say it, so y’all have to say it.

Yeeeees SIR, if you can ensure that your woman stays in the house, you don’t need to lift a finger in that castle. That is absolutely correct.

Also just to keep it real, most of the women i’ve dated the past 5-6 years haven’t had any issues with cooking. There are black women out in the world who still take pride in culinary arts. Like I literally CANNOT think of a time where a woman I was involved with had an issue cooking meals for us. I’ve always thought that a great compromise is if she cooks then i’ll clean up. Make it a TEAM effort. No man is going to lose his “authority” in the household by cleaning up the goddamn house. Some of ya’ll nikkas are draconian as all hell
I pray you receive your heart’s desires 🙏🏾

That's fair, so that means women should at times cut grass, edge and wash cars? Do the grunt of the house work as well if we are sharing chores.

Folks only wanna focus on the 'inside' chores. Let's include all the chores.
She wake her ass up Saturday morning and get out there and tackle that big ass yard front and back, edge and trim any bushes.

Let's not limit the chores to cooking and laundry, I don't see a whole lot of women out in the yard cutting grass and doing other grunt work

Yeah I don't get this.

Growing up my dad who made way more than my mother cooked more often. But she primarily washed the dishes til we got old enough to take over.

He did maintain outside n she inside but they each did what was necessary to keep the ship running and the crew fed.

It's like heads are trying to turn into their grandparents when the world is very different now.

And for the record, if she doesn't want to feed you she really doesn't want you.
And vice versa. I'll cook for you if I vibe with you but if I'm not trying to It's not there

Who are all these dudes telling women they gotta do all the cooking and cleaning in 2022?

These influencers and "gurus" are faking their content like Jerry Springer used to do.

I do agree with this
Cook and cleaning are the only chores that matter to them

My wife cooks two or three times or a week on average. Our nanny picks the kids up and has a full meal prepared by 4:30 for us & the kids three days a week. I'll cook on a whim here and there if I'm off, someone is under the weather or when we're grilling. Sometimes I'll head to the kitchen and throw on something just because or if my girls ask for something they prefer me to make. I honestly haven't touched a pot in over a month. You have to do what works for you though.
