That barber DID NOT disrespect her because she was dark skinned...he dissed her because it was early as fukk in the morning...barbers are not customer service experts...especially after a late night in the club possibly. When she told me that story I was very concerned.That really showed how deep colorism has impacted her life.Now is it possible that he was rude to her because she was dark? Yes.But there could have been a million reasons of why he wasn't friendly with her.But it still doesn't change the fact that her overall message is true.Dark skin black women are disrespected & that should not be tolerated.

I've caught hate for being darkskin, even had a guy specifically turn me down cause of it(his mom didnt want dark grand babies). But then i've had dudes be obsessed over it to.
