A dime regardless of skin color will always get chose but let's not be willingly obtuse here, light skin women are undoubtedly numero uno on the totem pole in the black community.
Average looking women like Rashida Jones, Lolo Jones, Zoe Kravitz have ascended to sex symbol status solely because of one feature alone while similar looking women like Azealia Banks for example are deemed ugly just because they're a few shades darker.
Then again these same group of women complaining about colorism will shun a black man if he's a inch shorter than 6 feet so perhaps we shouldn't be coddling them & tell them to suck it up & get over it.

I disagree. Neither Rashida Jones nor Zoe Kravitz are sex symbols for any but you. Where are all the Zoe Kravitz and Rashida Jones threads? These women are considered exotic and get upped to an extent, but nobody has elevated any of them to sex symbol status. Nicki Minaj and various brown and dark sin women are way more sex symbols than any of the above. You're reaching.
Azealia Banks had her stans, including myself (I even changed my avatar), until she started shytting on nikkas. Banks has a sex tape out (I think) with a big tall dark skin dude, so it's not like she can't get black men. I get the sense Banks is one of these black girls that excludes a large portion of black men because she's blind and ignorant. I've black nerds, geeks, college athletes, etc walking around with lesser girls than Azealia Banks, and that was before the fame.
